Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. – Albert Einstein
I have always imagined things, looking for something new and encourage new ideas as I produce art. For Example, I began working with lights to change the interpretation of my pieces. I have always thought that much of what is going on around the world is insignificant compared to the things going through my mind. For as long as I can remember, I have always felt different as a person because of my vivid imagination. As an artist, I am influenced by everything that I see, feel and experience.I am particularly inspired by the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) movement.Attending Raves is an escape from reality, helps me realize how beautiful the world is when we are gathered as one. The lights, the colors, and especially the music have greatly influenced my art through the years, and continue to do so. The vibrancy of the colors of the EDM scene is reflected in much of my work. I have experimented with the way lights can change the interpretation of many of my pieces, and how changing light evokes changing emotions. Much of my current work is experimental. I use vibrant colors and lights to change the interpretation of my art. I combine different mediums in unconventional ways. An example of such work is my television with the moss on the bottom and different found objects. I see myself on a life-long path of self-discovery as an artist and a person.
